Wonderful Location
Had a gorgeous short stay at The Wisp. Beautifully renovated with lots of detail thought through for guests. The location is wonderful. Would highly recommend!
Nice walks
I had such a lovely stay at The Wisp. The cabin is so cosy and beautifully decorated. The wood-fired outdoor bath was such a lovely highlight, as well as the projector for DVDs. There are also nice walks in the immediate area. Nicola was quick to reply to my questions and very helpful. Highly recommend for a solo or couple's trip!
Beautiful long weekend
We had a beautiful long weekend at the wisp. It was the perfect relaxing stay. They genuinely had thought of everything!! The hosts were very helpful in helping us around the local area and very welcoming. 11/07/2025
Amazing host
Nicola is an amazing host - she was so responsive before and during our trip. We got a bit lost on our way lol she was waiting outside for us which was so nice of her. She was patient with our questions, gave us good recommendations in the area as well. The barn was clean, facilities were amazing, outdoor area really big. It was fun to use the wood fired hot tub as well.
Magical Time
We had the most magical time at the wisp. It was everything and more we could of wished for and was the perfect way to spend valentines weekend.
Stargazing!
The stay was wonderful! The house is so cosy with everything you needed to spend 2 nights (full kitchen equipment or BBQ). Enjoying the evening in the hot tub or watching movies are the most amazing and relaxing things. Also star gazing!! A fantastic "getaway" from the busy daily works.
Coneniently located for walks
A really lovely stay. The hosts were responsive ahead of our arrival, helping us with info on check in times and local taxi companies. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous, true to photos and really nicely finished. The cabin was conveniently located for walks, shops and dining.
We slept like babies!
Nicola and Rachel's cabin was delightful! We loved watching movies with the projector and spending cozy nights in. The fire pit was cute and we slept like babies!
Beautiful cabin
Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Beautiful cabin, location and features! Everything was thought of and to such a high standard with a cosy feel! You felt like you were in your own world!
Mini-moon getaway
We stayed at the Wisp for a ‘mini-moon’ getaway after our wedding. It was perfect for a few quiet days away and very relaxing.
